Digitalization is a process that involves the conversion of existing processes into digital forms. With the emergence of the internet, digitalization has reached every part of the world.

India has also taken many initiatives in this context. The government of India adopted the “Digital India” campaign in the year 2015. They undertook this to promote the applications of the internet throughout the country.

Digitalization is the backbone of the social and economic growth of the country. Many fields like banking, healthcare, education, fashion, media, etc. have adopted digitalization to a vast extent.

The sphere of education is constantly developing and the use of technology in education is one of the biggest revolutions that has redefined the learning method.

The addition of technology to the ecosystem of education for its improvement has been discussed and debated for many years.

Realizing its innumerable benefits, schools, colleges, and universities are building smart classrooms to provide an all-inclusive learning experience to students.

With the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the world witnessed a massive shift toward digitalization. Because of digitalization, all school and college-going students received education through online modes.

Concerned for the safety of the teachers and students in mind, Shri Venkateshwara University and all other schools and educational institutions running under the Venkateshwara Group ofInstitutions held all the classes in online mode.

Dr. Giri made sure that we made all the required facilities available to the teachers and students for studying online during the pandemic period so that their studies are not affected.  

New digital devices also helped doctors understand the effects of Covid-19.

With the help of various digital technologies, doctors and healthcare workers could detect and treat patients in a much better way.
